My Tahiti Story
I'm Jacqui MacNeill, the founder of Escents — and I personally create every single product in our collection. Tahitian Vanilla is one of my most beloved blends, and it has a story I love to tell.
I travelled to Tahiti and was completely captivated by the island's extraordinary ingredients. I fell in love with the rich, creamy aroma of natural vanilla bean — the way it wove itself through the local food and cooking, warm and intoxicating in the tropical heat. Vanilla in desserts, in sauces, in the very air of the markets. It was everywhere, and it was extraordinary.
Then I discovered ylang ylang. One breath of that heady, exotic flower and I was utterly intoxicated. I knew immediately I had to combine them both. The result? A deliciously wicked, intoxicating blend that has become one of Escents' most treasured signatures.
