How to Use
For diffusing: Add 4–6 drops to your aromatherapy diffuser to clear the air and support breathing — especially effective during cold and flu season.
For steam inhalation: Add 3–5 drops to a bowl of steaming water, drape a towel over your head, and inhale deeply for 5–10 minutes to relieve congestion and sinus pressure.
For topical use: Dilute 4–6 drops in 10ml of carrier oil and massage into chest, back, or sore muscles. Never apply undiluted to skin.
For a DIY chest rub: Blend with coconut oil and a few drops of peppermint for a natural, soothing chest balm.
🌿 Wellness Uses (Organic)
While Eucalyptus Globulus is not recommended for culinary use, its organic certification makes it ideal for therapeutic wellness applications where purity matters most:
- Shower steam: Place 3–5 drops on the shower floor (away from direct water) for an instant eucalyptus steam room experience
- Sauna drops: Add 2–3 drops to sauna water for a deeply cleansing, respiratory-clearing steam
- Pillow mist: Dilute in water in a spray bottle and mist your pillow to support clear breathing during sleep
- Natural surface cleaner: Add 10 drops to a spray bottle with water and white vinegar for an antibacterial household cleaner
- Yoga mat spray: Combine with tea tree and water to refresh and sanitize your yoga mat
- Cold & flu bath: Add 6–8 drops to a warm bath with Epsom salts to ease body aches and open airways
How Eucalyptus Differs from Peppermint & Tea Tree
- Eucalyptus Globulus — Camphor-like and deeply respiratory. The champion of congestion, colds, and muscle relief. Wellness use only — not for cooking.
- Peppermint — Cool, minty, and energizing. Overlaps with eucalyptus for headaches and sinus relief, but also suitable for culinary use. More stimulating and uplifting in scent.
- Tea Tree — Sharp, medicinal, and antibacterial. Focused on skin, scalp, and surface cleaning. Never ingest — even when organic.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not apply undiluted to skin. Do not use near the face of infants or young children — eucalyptus can cause breathing difficulties in children under 2. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
