The Story Behind Ecosolve
I discovered Ecosolve the way the best things are found — by asking a question I couldn't stop thinking about.
I was a Pilates student at Esprit de Corps, a beautiful studio in Vancouver. After class one day, I noticed the studio smelled genuinely fresh — not masked with synthetic fragrance, not sharp with disinfectant. Just clean. Naturally, effortlessly clean. So I asked Mary Sayers, the co-founder, what they were using.
That's when she introduced me to her husband James Spack's discovery: Ecosolve. James had spent years researching, testing, and scientifically documenting a plant-based formula derived from banana enzyme that could clean, deodorize, and sanitize more effectively than alcohol — and last four times longer. The Pilates studio was his living proof.
I was fascinated. We tested it in a yoga mat spray first. Then our stick deodorants. Then deodorant sprays, room mists, and our Germs Away Mist. Every single test confirmed what James already knew: this was something genuinely different.
