Escents Aromatherapy has not rebranded. We are aware that a company in Taiwan has been selling products under the name "John Ray" and falsely claiming this is a rebrand of Escents. This is untrue and unauthorized.

Escents Aromatherapy was founded in 1992 by Jacqui MacNeill in Richmond, BC, Canada. We have no affiliation with "John Ray" or any company operating under that name. These products are not made by Escents, are not formulated to our standards, and are not endorsed by us in any way.

Authentic Escents products are only available at escentsaromatherapy.com. If you have purchased a product you believe may not be genuine, please contact us directly — we are here to help.

Escents in Taiwan

Escents Aromatherapy currently has no authorized retail partners or store locations in Taiwan. We previously had retail affiliations in Taiwan which have since ended. We are not currently operating any physical locations in Taiwan under any name.

We are committed to serving our Taiwan customers directly through our online store, with international shipping available.

  • Genuine Escents products are handcrafted in small batches in Richmond, BC, Canada
  • All products carry the Escents Aromatherapy brand name — we have not rebranded under any other name
